Key of World

There are many locks
and with such are many keys
with most keys they are returned
but with one lock where one key
and only one key can unlock it
Once that key is given away
the key can never be returned
It becomes the sole possession of the recipient forever theirs
For this is no random key but is a special key
This key is not handed to one another lightly
but rather earned over time
For several years people work to earn this key
once given this key,
the one key that will forever more unlock
not a door to a house or a car but unlock
The person's heart forever
at that point in time when they give that key
they will then for the first time understand True Love

Your pictures are in frames, memories on my wall
To have you here again, I would give them all
A picture cannot capture, the beauty of your skin
Or the radiating glow I'd feel, whenever you would grin
They cannot talk or sing to me, the way you used to do
I'll never love another, the way that I love you

So I look at you my soul mate, a picture in a frame
I cry my tears of sorrow, cause I feel God's to blame
He came and took the one, who made my life complete
And all that's left are pictures, and an empty seat
I also have a feeling down, deep within my heart
It's the pain of loneliness, since we've been apart

I try not to let the grief, just overcome my day
I'll blow a kiss to heaven and send it when I pray
I'll ask God to free me now, from a world so blue
To take me up to Paradise, so I can fly with you
I'm waiting for the day you come, calling out my name

I have always seen life for what it really is
Ever since I was a child growing up, hard times are all I know
I had to sit back and watch my mother work from sunset to sundown
I had to sit back and watch my mother work herself to her grave
Nothing ever came easy for her
She always had a heart and kept a smile on her face
Life is like a newborn baby struggling to come out of its mother's womb
Life is a struggle true enough, but after all the struggling you have done
..and after all the hell you have been through, there is success

Life is nothing but a big struggle, but just keep the faith and focus on your goals
Don't let life beat you or you will be walking around like zombies
Keep on pushing, keep on trying, life can be whatever you make it to be
But life can also be a bowl of cherries with whip cream and apple pie
I say this again; life is what you make of it

You can achieve or conquer anything it throws at you
You can't quit or give up, you have got to keep on working
Look higher some way, some how you are going to make it

Across the shore awaits a boat
Though sea's are rough, its still afloat

Raise the sails, held up by mast
Forget the troubles of distant past
As wave crash down upon the deck
Steady the boat; not quite a wreak

Tend the mast, and fix the scratch
light the lantern with one last match
The storm will end, pull anchor and rope
